Laptop Power Button Issue

Today we got a laptop the customer complained the power button did not turn the laptop on. We started by trying to reproduce the issue. This became a little bit of an issue as the power button worked just fine. We tried to for about 30 min to get it to not respond to us shutting it off and turning it on.
